FAQs

  • What is an organization?

An organization groups users, agents, usage, and settings under a single account. Usage and subscriptions are managed at the organization level.

  • Can I index a webpage that requires authentication for access?

Only public pages can be indexed and configured as a data source for your AI.

  • Can I control what agents remember?

Yes. Memory settings allow you to review, manage, or clear what agents retain over time.

  • Which language models are supported?

The platform supports multiple language models. Available models may change over time and can vary by plan and configuration. For more information on some of the available models, see Configuring models and data sources.

  • Is my data private?

Yes. Data you upload or connect is private to your organization and not shared with other customers. You can also delete data sources and uploaded files at any time.

  • I've adjusted the settings for Temperature for the language model. However, I still receive widely varied responses from my AI. How can I improve these results?

In addition to adjusting the temperature, you can add a prompt in the training instructions along the lines of "only use the configured knowledge to answer questions". This ensures that the AI is referring to only the datasets you have configured and is less dependent on public model data. Also ensure that the temperature setting of the AI is around 0.5. These changes should improve in returning more consistent results.

  • Is there a limit to the number of questions/prompts I can ask in a conversation?

No, there isn’t a limit to the number of questions or prompts that can be raised in a conversation. However, the length of continuous usage of Devs.ai is based on the terms of service usage policy.

  • I no longer need to use an agent. Can I archive or delete it?

Agents cannot be archived. However, you can delete them. Note that you can only delete the agents you have created.

    To delete an agent:

    1. Go to the Browse tab and click on the agent you want to delete.
    2. Click the more options button in the conversation window and then click Edit AI.
    3. Scroll down to the bottom of the Edit agent page and then click Delete.
  • Why is an agent not responding as expected?

This can happen due to model limitations, missing data, tool configuration issues, or usage limits. Switching models or reviewing agent setup often helps.

  • Why are my results inaccurate?

Accuracy depends on data quality, model choice, and clarity of instructions. Review connected data sources and refine agent instructions.
